Feminists Holding the Line: Defending Rights, Democracy, and Climate Justice in the Face of Anti-rights Backlash in the UNECE region

As hard-won rights across gender equality and social justice are dismantled overnight, civil society must hold the line. 

This mobilisation space will map counter-strategies to resist the far right, anti-gender, and anti-rights forces gaining ground across UNECE threatening not just democracy, but also climate justice. With insights from feminist and gender equality organisations, we will strategise to sustain resistance, build alliances, and push back in an era of crisis. SDGs 5, 3, 10, 16, 13.
